The following process outlines how to create the CRA LR submission file.
Step 1 Log into the CDP/CenTrax NEXT
The active Institution and File will display in the upper right-hand section to the left of the name of the user logged in.
Step 2 Click Filing
Step 3 Click CRA Submission File
Step 4 Verify information within the Submission File section
Step 5 Enable or disable any items within the Option section:
- Internet Submission
o If disabled, select CD-ROM or Diskettes as alternative format.
- Override Validity Checks: if enabled, the file will be created even if it includes exceptions
Step 6 Select Micro Data option:
- Exclude: Only Composite and Assessment Area records will be present in the file
- Include with LR Data: Micro, Composite and Assessment Area records will be present in the file
- Micro Data file Only: Only Micro data records will be present in the file
Note: If submitting via Web, the Include with LR Data will be necessary in order for all required records and data to be present when creating the LR within FFIEC’s Data Entry software.
Step 7 Click the Build LR File button in the bottom-right hand corner
Step 8 Click the green Success box that will pop up in the bottom right-hand corner of the window
Step 9 To create the submission file, click the Build LR File button
Step 10 Select the destination and file name for the CRA LR within the Windows Explorer box that pops up
Step 11 Click Save
Step 12 To print the LR totals, click the Print LR Totals Report button
12.1 Click the PDF Export button in the bottom right hand corner to save an electronic copy of the report
