If you wish to filter for Households that were active in one file set, but closed in the next file set, you can do so using Comparison Filtering in ExecuTrax.
Set the older of the two file sets active and browse to Discover/Research. Create a filter for Household System Status equals Active. Make sure only Active is selected in the Include menu.
Choose your newer file set under Compare File:
Hit the Summary button on the top right, Change the Set Filter On selection to older file set (note, the change for Number of Households is how many should results should meet our filter in the next step if successful).
Hit Mark Records.
Close the summary menu, then clear your original filter at Discovery/Research and change your Compare File value back to [NONE].
Enter the following filter:
Household Basics / Comparison Change Type / Equals / Left Filter Group and Institution (use Pick List for the final selection, the system value for that selection is 2)
With this filter in place, the number of households in your summary results, should now match back to your #Change value on the comparison summary scree, ie the number of households that were active in this file set and are not active in your newer file set. You may browse these records for a closer look or run any export or report for your analysis.
