Yes!
A previous year's file, previous import template, and/or records can all be deleted in the Compliance Data Platform.
To delete a previous year's file (use caution - this cannot be reversed):
- Navigate to Settings > File Manager.
- Click the radio button for any file(s) to be deleted.
- Click Delete. This will remove an entire file and any associated records.
To delete a previous import template:
1. Navigate to Data Processing > DataPro > Configuration.
2. Click the Import tab on the left-hand side. Any existing import templates will be displayed.
3. Click the name of the desired import template, and scroll down.
4. Click Delete to remove the existing template. This will remove the import template ONLY.
To delete records from an imported file,
- Navigate to Data Processing > DataPro > Configuration > DeletePro
2. Click Add New and set up a new DeletePro template, selecting the Group where the filter was saved in Data Entry or Discovery>Research.
Note: To set up a new DeletePro template, a filter must first be created and saved. This filter could be set for "Entry Date" of the date of import that needs to be purged. This filter will identify any record imported on that day. Filters may be created and saved in Discovery>Research or Data Entry. Once a filter has been created and saved, it can be selected and applied in DataPro.
