The following document contains the necessary information needed to ensure a connection to
the Marquis Cloud geocode process. Provide this document to your IT department so they can
whitelist access from your environment to the geocoding service.
Whitelist the following:

| Ports | 80 and 443 |
The whitelisting procedure will vary depending on your organization’s firewall and
network configuration. Once the settings above have been applied for your NEXT
environment, the geocode process within the application will operate without error.
A general error for this appears as the following:
The cause for this normally narrows down to a few things.
- The account used to run DataPro is different, or the security changed and cannot access what it needs.

- Normally this can be diagnosed by opening up the program and manually geocoding. If that succeeds, that points to an issue with the permissions.

- The API is not allowed to pass through the firewall. IT will need to ensure all information above is allowed.
- IT has a security protocol and/or antivirus that is blocking the API call. IT will need to allow that traffic through.
