Account types may provide specific information about a record, such as 30 year fixed mortgage, etc.
Account types may also be linked to a more general product, such as credit cards.
The following procedures will outline the steps for adding and managing any Account Type
codes to be utilised within the system for Fair Lending analysis.
Step 1 Log into the Compliance Data Platform
The active Institution and File will display in the upper right-hand section to the left of the
name of the user logged in.
Step 2 Click Settings
Step 3 Hover over Product
Step 4 Click on Account Types
Step 5 To add a new Account Type code, click the green Add New button on the upper right-hand
corner
5.1 Type in the Code
5.2 Type in the Name or description of the Account Type
5.3 Click the drop-down arrow for Rate Type to make a selection (optional)
- Fixed
- Adjustable
5.4 Click the drop-down arrow for Loan or Deposit Option to identify the type as a loan or
deposit
5.5 Click the drop-down arrow for Product to assign it a product
Note: The Products displaying in the drop down are the codes which have been added in the Products/Product Codes section. Please visit our procedures for Product Codes for steps to add new
Product codes.
5.6 Click the drop-down arrow for Client Data Source to make a selection (optional)

add Data System ID codes.
5.7 Click the drop-down arrow for CRA Loan Type to make a selection (optional)

- Small Farm
- Other Secured Lines
- Home Equity
- Motor Vehicle
- Credit Card
- Other Secured Consumer Loan
- Other Unsecured Consumer Loan
- Other Loan Data
5.8 Click the drop-down arrow for HMDA Loan Type to make a selection (optional)
- Conventional
- FHA
- VA
- FSA/RHS
5.9 Click Save
Step 6 To Edit an Account Type Code, click on the desired Account Type
6.1 Select Edit
6.2 Make the desired changes
6.3 If the changes are not desired, click the X in the upper right-hand corner to Cancel the changes
6.4 Click Save
Step 7 To Delete an Account Type Code, click on the desired Account Type code
7.1 Select Delete
7.2 Click Yes to the confirmation message
