System wide settings can be applied and managed through the System Settings area of
the system. They will determine what edits to check for, geocode settings to apply during Data Entry and how to manage duplicate account numbers.
Step 1 Log into CDP/CenTrax NEXT
The active Institution and File will display in the upper right-hand section to the left of the name of the user logged in.
Step 2 Click the Settings tab
Step 3 Click System Settings
Step 4 Under the HMDA Settings section, place a check mark to enable the desired Edits and
settings
- CenTrax HMDA Edits
- Quality Edits
- Validity Edits
- Calculate rate spread during data entry
Step 5 Under CRA Settings, place a check mark to enable the desired Edits and settings
- CenTrax CRA Edits
- Quality Edits
- Validity Edits
Step 6 Type in labels for User Defined Geocode Exceptions as desired
6.1 These are labels that can be used to identify specific geocode exceptions unique to the
institution.
Step 7 Under Geocode Settings, enable the desired settings
- Replace street name during manual geocode
- Replace ZIP code during manual geocode
- Data entry compares geocode with FFIEC
Step 8 Under System Settings, enable the desired settings.
8.1 If desired, select the first checkbox to enable Data entry checks for duplicate account
numbers.
8.2 If desired, select the second checkbox to check for duplicate ULI
Step 9 Click Save
