“Rejected” In Email Performance Report Now Includes Monthly Maximum Limits
We’ve improved the Email Performance report! The “Rejected” category now includes emails that weren’t sent due to recipients reaching their Monthly Max email limit. You can view and download these details within the report for up to 45 days after uploading your email lists.
Plus, the info tooltip for “Rejected” has been updated to reflect this enhancement.
What are Monthly Max Limits?
Monthly Max Limits is a Digital Communication platform feature that helps control email frequency by limiting how many emails each recipient can receive in a month.
If Monthly Max Limits are enabled, emails to recipients who’ve reached their limit won’t be sent unless you override this setting for a specific email.
How Do I Know If I’m Using Monthly Max Limits?
To check if your account has Monthly Max Limits enabled:
- Go to Account Settings > Email > General Settings.
- Look for the Monthly Email Limit field.
- If a number is set, your account is using Monthly Max Limits.
You can also view (and override) the Monthly Max Limits when you launch an email, as shown in the image below.
Additional Modifications
Custom HTML email editor
We’ve introduced a replacement Custom HTML option in the Email Editor. The previous Custom HTML option contained technology that is no longer supported so this needed to be replaced. The Custom HTML options is only used if you select “I have HTML I would like to use” within The Basics of the Email Editor.
Add your code inside the text box, add Merge fields using the “Use Merge Field button”, and use the Preview options to see how your email looks.
Use the new “Format HTML” button to display your HTML code in view to help read your HTML code better. This option structures your HTML code while you are in the editor but will not save your HTML code in that format.
