The CASS process will evaluate the address on the record to better match with the USPS postal standards, to assist in the identifying and obtaining geocodes on records. The Geocode process will assign geocode attributes to the record based on the address it contains.
Step 1 Log into the CDP/CenTrax NEXT
The active Institution and File will display in the upper right-hand section to the left of the name of the user logged in.
Step 2 Click Data Processing
Step 3 Click DataPro
Step 4 To run the CASS process, click CASS Certify from the menu on the left-hand side
4.1 Click the Run Now button
Step 5 To run the Geocode process, click Geocode from the menu on the left-hand side
5.1 Select one of the options for processing:
- All Addresses
- Ungeocoded records
5.2 Click Save
5.3 Click the Run Now button
Note: Please note, purging the geocode will wipe out all geocode information on all records, regardless if the geocode was manually entered or assigned by CenTrax NEXT. It can also not be recalled once it has been purged.
Step 6 To wipe out all geocodes, place a check mark in the Purge Geocode data
6.1 Click the Run Now button
Note: Both the CASS and Geocode processes can be automated and managed within the Automation Manager to allow for a quick and efficient update process.
