After a survey is published you are not able to edit the questions or contact information. This is locked down to protect the reporting data. If changes are made the reporting could become corrupt.
We suggest you create a new survey and redirect the old survey link to the new one.
- Create a copy of survey
- Make edits to the survey
- Publish
- Copy new survey URL
- Go to the old survey and select Edit-->Details
- On the Details page De-select Never expire Survey
- Enter the date you want the survey to expire
- Select the radio button to Redirect to a web page if expired
- Paste URL for the new survey in the Expire redirect URL
- For additional data in your survey report (email address and custom fields) add ?SurveyMatix=4 to the end of the URL to connect email data to the survey data
- Update
Once the old survey is expired and the redirect added when the URL for the old survey is selected it will automatically redirect to the new survey.
*****When a survey is expired the survey will move to the completed tab. The data that has been collected will expire 45 days after the survey expires. You will need to make a copy of the data if needed for future reference.
