To populate survey data within the survey report the survey needs to be added through the custom links survey tab in the email. If you cut and paste the URL the survey will not be linked correctly. If the URL is linked correctly you will see ?SurveyMatix=4 at the end of the URL.
- Select the Insert Custom Link icon
- Select the Surveys tab
- From the dropdown select the published survey you want linked
- Click Insert
- When you hover over the URL you will see the ?SurveyMatix=4 at the end of the URL that links the data to the survey report
When viewing the survey report if the Response Type is showing Website the Email and Custom fields will be blank. The survey link was either not linked to the email correctly or accessed outside of an email sent through the Digital Communications Platform. When Linked correctly the Response Type will show email with the data available
