Enhancements
Red is out. Purple is in! Marquis has gone through a rebranding campaign and this release features some of those branding changes including CenTrax Next being renamed to Compliance Data Platform (CDP).
What's New!
New Audit Manager Feature
We are so excited to introduce a new auditing feature! In our initial introduction, the focus is on changes made through Data Entry. We are providing the ability to enable a change log to be created when manually updating records. Not only will it create a log of the changes made within Data Entry but you’ll have the ability to apply your own reason codes for the change as well as provide additional comments. This feature will continually be enhanced to encompass all of the changes made through any process within the Compliance Data Platform.
The Audit Manager logging can be enabled within the System Settings and is also where the reason codes and their associated description can be found. You can add your own reason codes that your users can then apply to the change log while editing your records.
PLEASE NOTE that we have created default reason codes for all of the processes of the system: for this release the changes tracked will be manual changes within Data Entry. We will be introducing logging in other areas in future releases later this year.
When a field is changed within Data Entry, a change reason fly-out will appear, providing the ability to select a reason and apply any additional comments to all edited fields once the record is saved.
PLEASE NOTE that any calculated fields such as Joint Race/Sex/Ethnicity, demographic fields, etc. will also be logged with changes if the data dependent field was updated. Example, if a change is made to the applicant race field that would result in an update to the Joint race field, the joint race field change will be logged as well.
To view all edits made on the record within Data Entry, simply click the gear button located near the Add New button.
A simple report will display the most recent changes for that record. Clicking the arrow pointing to the left will display the detailed report which provides additional information for the change logs such as previous values, comments and additional information related to the changes made.
New Audit Manager Report
A new Audit Manager report is available within the Integrity Report category Under Discovery/Reporting. This report allows you to review all changes that have been made. You can isolate the data in the report to include:
- Changes made within a date range
- All changes (if you don’t make any selections)
- Changes made to a particular field
- Changes made by a specific user
FFIEC County Boundary Changes for 2024
FFIEC released their county boundary changes for 2024 regarding Connecticut counties. The Compliance Data Platform has been updated to ensure you are using the most up-to-date geographies for analysis as well as ensuring you are prepared early for 2024 submissions.
The FFIEC geocode source was updated automatically January 1st, 2024 resulting in any 2024 records being geocoded with the updated boundaries. This may have resulted in geocode fields displaying as blank if it contained the new combinations. Please rerun the geocode process after the 1.11.0 release has been applied to your system.
PLEASE NOTE: due to these geographic boundaries resulting in new geocode tract combinations, the associated demographic data will be unavailable for those new combinations until FFIEC releases that information.

2022 CRA Aggregate Data
The 2022 CRA Aggregate data was released by FFIEC at the end of December 2023. That data is included in this release and is now available within the applicable reporting.
Exam Tables Updated for 2022
The Exam Tables require both the same year of aggregate data for HMDA and CRA. Since we now have 2022 aggregate lending for CRA (HMDA was previously released) , the exam tables are updated within this release to include the 2022 Aggregate Lending when generating a report on files 2022 and newer.
Additional Enhancements/Changes
Mapping
- To further enhance the new mapping solution, we have increased the range of font sizes available when customizing your map. You can now adjust the font sizes to as low as 4 pts.
- The State and County boundary layers are now available with the ability to modify the color, border thickness and opacity, as desired.
Geocoding
- Records with an imported geocode will now be able to have only the latitude and longitude fields updated when the Geocode process is run if those two fields are empty. This will ensure all records can be displayed on a map when choosing to display the dots by latitude/longitude.
- To assist in the validation on records that had the geocode updated, any updates made to ONLY the latitude and/or longitude field will no longer be counted in the totals for records updated during the Geocode process.
- If you have further questions, please contact Marquis Support or your Client Relationship Manager.
The following fixes are included in this release:
Filing: HMDA edits V665.2 and V667.2 have been updated for filing year 2024 moving forward have been updated to include all applicable codes for the credit score model applicant fields. (#115407)
Filing:The CenTrax Edit C010 has been updated to no longer include Puerto Rico when flagging this edit on CRA Qualified records. (#116757)
DataPro: Importing a submission file will now bring over “NA” into the address field if the address is not flagged as NA within the submission file. (#113931)
Coming Soon
We’re excited to share a few sneak peeks at some enhancements and changes coming out in future releases:
