2023 CRA Aggregate data
The 2023 CRA Aggregate data was released by FFIEC at the end of December 2024. That data is included in this release and is now available within the applicable reports.
Performance Evaluation Tables
We are excited to announce that new Performance Evaluation tables are available. These reports are designed to replicate performance evaluation tables in Performance Evaluation Reports provided by examiners and will enable you to replicate what you would see in an examination. This will assist in creating your own performance evaluations throughout the year to get a good understanding of your performance and identify any areas in need of improvement.
These tables are located within Discovery > Reporting > CRA > Performance Evaluation Tables.

Additional Modifications
Branch Record Import
You now have the ability to import branch records from a CSV file, saving time, especially if you have a large number of branches to bring into the system. Simply click the Import button and select From File. Use the drop-downs to select the applicable fields from your CSV file and click on any underlined field names in order to select an appropriate format.
The fields that are available for import are:
- Please note, some branch data can be derived from other data elements such as the Tract Income and Tract Minority. The system will refer to the most current geocode information to derive those two data points.
- Reminder: Fields with an underline contain formatting options. Simply click on the field name that is underlined and the format options will appear. The formatting matches the formatting options available within the Import Definitions in DataPro.
Change to the FDIC Import within Branches
To ensure the most current branches through FDIC are made available, we have updated the FDIC Import process within the Branches table to use FDIC’s Location API. This will allow for the system to connect directly to FDIC and pull back the branches. This will also remove the need for an upgrade to load the updated information into the system. Included is the ability to filter on a date range to isolate those branches that opened within a set time frame.
- For branch imports containing 500 or more records, the process for importing the records and retrieving the deposit information was split in order to prevent performance challenges. The records will be imported into the table first, while the deposit information will continue to be updated to those applicable records. A message will appear when the records are successfully imported, and then another message will appear when the deposit information is updated successfully.
- Due to utilizing the API provided by FDIC, the data imported is strictly based on what FDIC provides and is not supplemented by Marquis.
Delete Branches
The ability to delete one or more branch records is now available within the Branches table. Simply click the box next to the desired branch records OR click the box next to the delete button to select all branches. Once you have selected the branch records you wish to delete, click the Delete button, and choose Yes in the confirmation message to remove those records.
PLEASE NOTE, once the Delete process is complete, there is no Restore option. The records will be removed permanently from the list.
Search Within Branches
You will also be able to search your list of branches to find a specific branch. The Search box is located at the top of the page to the right of the Delete button. Simply begin typing into the Search box, and as you type, the list will shorten to those branch records containing the characters you are entering. The Search function will look for text within any of the fields in the Branch table. This means that you will be able to search for branches by open or close date, branch code, or any other available field within the list.
User Audit Report - Application
A version of the User Audit Report has been created within Discovery > Reporting > Setup Maintenance that provides a custom header and footer. The report provides user login details such as roles, last login date, and more.
NEW User activity Log Report
A new user activity audit report provides a historical log of the following activities:
- User record: Creation, deletion, active setting modification, role assignment modification, and institution assignment modification
- Role: Creation, deletion, and modification
- Institutions: Creation, deletion, and modification
The user activity logs provide the original and new settings/content for the modification being logged. The report is available for the Admin role and may be enabled on custom roles, if desired. For steps on editing an existing role, please reference the Role Creation and Management help resource.
FDIC Deposit Market Share—multi-select
The FDIC Deposit Market Share now provides the ability to select multiple geographic areas for generating your report. When clicking the drop-down to select the desired State, MSA, or County, you may click on any of the application areas on one report. For example, if you need to analyze Alabama and Arkansas, you will now be able to select both of those states at once and generate one report with totals from both states included.
Tract group/aa Import enhancement
We have added the ability to download the file of records that were ignored during import due to not finding a match in the geocode database. When your file import is complete, the notification message will identify any records that were not imported. Clicking on the message will download a file of records not matched.
In addition, the Import setting has been updated to default to a Reportable CRA Assessment Area. When you click the Import button on the Tract Group/AA page, the Import settings will have “Reportable CRA Assessment Area” checked. If the group you are importing is NOT an assessment area, uncheck that setting prior to saving your group.
If you have further questions, please contact Marquis Support or your Client Relationship Manager.
The following fixes are included in this release:
- Reporting: The FDIC Deposit Market Share Report experienced an arithmetic overflow when certain MSA(s) were selected. This has been resolved. (#139296)
- Reporting: HMDA Exceptions report displayed blank for some institutions. A change was made to the processing that prevented that display error from occurring. (#138657)
- Reporting: Exam Tables displayed the wrong label within the footer, which has been corrected to reference the appropriate source being used in the table. (#138527,138553)
- Reporting: While the data was correct, the Exam Tables displayed the wrong label within the file output for the demographic field. (#138383, 138404)
- Reporting: The Summary Totals line was not displayed on the Exam Table 1 when the selected assessment area crossed multiple states. (#140142)[EB2]
- DataPro: When the CDP file contained inactive records along with active records that contained matching account number/ULI, the Import process encountered challenges when identifying which records to update and ignore. That has been resolved. (#138687)
- Data Entry: Freeform fields were grayed out on a HMDA applicant record unless the 1071 code was referenced. This has been updated to refer to the applicable freeform fields based on the HMDA applicable race codes. (#139585)
- Processing: The Joint Race classification was missing some of the logic for the Joint Race of Asian, resulting in a mismatch between CFPB’s aggregate data and CDP. The logic has been updated. (#142303)
- Tract Group Importing: The process was not adding leading zeros when applicable. This has been corrected. If a county code on a record is less than 3 digits, leading zeros will be added, which will ensure a match is correctly found. (#137977)
- Mapping: The Query Tracts export excluded some of the tracts located within the radius, which has been corrected. (#139577)
- Settings: An error occurred when editing an existing Institution and attempting to save without entering a valid Tax ID. That requirement has been removed. (#141154)
