Social Security Tokenization
At Marquis, protecting sensitive customer data is foundational to how we operate. To further enhance security while preserving data integrity, we are introducing Social Security
Tokenization within ExecuTrax, Marketing Data Platform and CRM for cloud-hosted
clients.
This enhancement allows financial institutions to continue accurately linking customer
relationships across systems—without exposing Social Security Numbers (SSNs) in their
raw form.
Setting up PII Tokenization will deliver the following benefits:
- Enhanced security, with no ongoing changes to your daily file process.
- Occurs immediately on receipt by our SFTP server, before it’s made available to a human.
- Sensitive data files are deleted immediately after tokenization is complete.
- Each client is provided a unique key for encryption.
- Tokenization follows the NIST SP 800-38G standard.

Ability to change the Activity Log Type on Existing Activity Logs
Ever start an activity log and realize you picked the wrong type? Or a Phone call you had with a customer that turned into a Referral so you wish you could just change the type instead of having to create a whole new Referral log? Now you can! Simply click the dropdown on the header and select which type the log should be.
Setup adjustments: If the user has a role that allows them to Edit logs, they can change the type. Added, Closed, Referrals, and Pipeline log types will not have the ability to change the type once the log is in Done status. Any fields populated on the log that are specific to the type will not carry over to the changed type.
Customer Search – Social Security Number is now a customizable field
If you are no longer using Social Security Number under the Search on the Customer Dashboard to locate Customers, now you can change it to a different field you use. Maybe Customer Birth Date is a better option, or if you have a Customer user defined field that is more suitable, simply modify the field under CRM Settings with the Customer level field of your choosing.
If there are any fields your institution doesn’t use under the Customer Search, they can be turned off. Additionally, the order in which the fields display on the search can be adjusted.
Setup adjustments: Changes to the Customer Search are made under Administration – Setup – CRM Settings – Customer Search Setup. Changes will apply to the Customer Search as a whole for the institution.
Additional Modifications
Customer Dashboard
- Copy and Delete buttons for Activity Logs have been moved to ‘more options’ icon found next to the X on the new Activity Log header.
- Updated the Manager, Branch, and Region values to display based on the Individual/Household level data. It was using Account level fields which could cause missing data if the key account didn’t reflect values the Individual/Household level did.
Administration
- Updated First Name field to only require 1 character instead of 3.
- Workflows now have the option to create a new Activity Log ‘Immediately’ after the previous activity is completed. This allows for the next log to be created with the Due Date of the current date instead of having the Due Date be in the future.
Discovery - Research
- Made performance improvements to the Activity Log Report under Actions.
Bug Fixes
Dashboard
- Fixed an issue that prevented Dashboards to be created/copied with long names.
Customer Dashboard – Activity Logs
- Fixed a bug that was causing the timestamp on the Logged Date for new logs to be the wrong time zone upon saving.
Discovery - Research
- Fixed a bug that was causing Partners to only qualify for a filter when ‘Include Non-Primary Customers’ was checked. Now they will display when filtering on Partners.
- Fixed an issue with the pagination disappearing when filtering on Prospects or Partners only.
